Cinnamon
is the oldest and most commonly used spice.
Cinnamon is known as a good anti-bacterial and antioxidant. This
is a reason for its use in foods and medicine. Cinnamon has a
long history in use for culinary and natural medicine purposes.
It is easy to confuse cinnamon with its close relative, cassia
(Chinese cinnamon).

insulin like action and potential to help treat type-2 diabetes.
Cinnamon also may be helpful for reducing triglycerides and
cholesterol.
A resents study concluded, that half of teaspoon of cinnamon
taken daily can significantly reduces blood sugar, triglycerides
and LDL cholesterol.
The cinnamon should be added to the normal food. It is the best
to consume cinnamon in its whole-food form. Do not take cinnamon
with sugar, cookies or tea - it is not as effective.
